ROBBED OF (rest of title missing)
Handle Twisted (missing)
There in Br (missing)
Daylig (missing)

Going to Waco Tue (missing) to meet his brother-in-law, Fred
Follstaedt, accompanied by Mrs. Follstaedt, en route to Marlin from Abilene.  Rev. G. J. Beyer, pastor of Grace Lutheran church of this city, reported the handle was twisted off of his locked automobile and three suit cases and contents belonging to his guests stolen.
Rev. Beyer had met Mr. and Mrs. Follstaedt at the bus station, and after placing the suit cases in the car, parked near the intersection of 8th and Washington streets, went downtown awhile.  Returning, they discovered the robbery.
Despite the fact that the car was parked near a rather busy intersection, it was broken into in broad open daylight between the hours of 4:30 and 6 p.m.  No trace of the marauders was reported.
Mr. and Mrs. Follstaedt, sans luggage, came on to Marlin and are guests in the Beyer home.
