Retiring Leader Named Chairman on Stewardship and Finance

    Dr. T. W. Currie of Austin, who was reared in the western part of Falls county, is a prominent figure in sessions at Montreat, N. C., this week of the general assembly of the Southern Presbyterian church.
    Dr. Currie is retiring moderator of the general assembly and he was named chairman of the committee on stewardship and finance for the ensuing year.
