PERRY SCHOOL ENTERTAINS
RESIDENTS OF COMMUNITY
Commencement Exercises Held and
Names of Those Receiving
Diplomas Given.
The Perry school gave a supper for the patrons and their families Thursday
evening at 7:30.
There was plenty to eat--wienies, (sic)
bread, cinnaman (sic) rolls, pickles, coffee, lemonade and, last but not least,
good old strawberry ice cream.
Those helping serve were Mr. and Mrs. Millard Turner, Miss Gertrude Pauling,
Miss Lila Mae Steele, Mrs. John Sandner, Mr. and Mrs. Monroe Krumnow, R. A.
Neuman R.R. Ludwig and F. W. Grochoske.
The young folks enjoyed a number of games
immensely while the older folks indulged in some lively domino and forty-two
games.
The Perry school has enjoyed a very
successful year. All four teachers have been re-elected for the ensuing
year. We are looking forward to a prosperous session.
The commencement exercises of the Perry
school was held Sunday evening at eight o'clock at the Perry Methodist church,
Rev. Horning delivering the commencement address. Those receiving diplomas
were Edna Sandner, Walter Neuman, Carl Dreyer, Andrew Neuman, Edna Sandner was
valedictorian; Walter Neuman, salutatorian.
