Miss Evelyn Hooper entertained a group of friends at her Saturday evening, a
"wienna roast" being a feature.
Girls who remained for a slumber party that
followed, with Maurine Pierson as chaperone, were Sallie Adair Seymour, Virginia
Barganier, Anna Belle Towers, Frances St. John, Elizabeth Freeman, Wadier
Katool, Virginia McBride, Hallie Goode, Genevieve Hancock, Lucile Rogers, Irene
Pierson, Imogene Langford, Vivian Noble, Aline Chamberlain, Katherine Hayes,
Nina Frances Denning, Mercedes Fannin, Hettie Pearl Yeager of Marlin, and Gussie
Dyer, Memie Bright and Mary Alice Randolph of Marlin.
