Among early arrivals attracted to Marlin by the new Falls county oil
field near here are S. A. Patterson and his son, Bryan Patterson, experienced drillers, who arrived Monday night from San Antonio.

The Pattersons are former Marlin residents and have had much experience in putting down wells in that section as well as other portions of the county and elsewhere in oil fields.
