     Mrs. N. S. Dodson of Austin, who is visiting relatives in Marlin, was
honored with a dinner on the 82nd anniversary of her birth Sunday, four of
her children being present for the event.
     Guests included Miss Sarah Dodson of Austin, Dr. and Mrs. G.R. Lacy
and two children of Pittsburgh, Pa., Judge and Mrs. E. M. Dodson and Dr. and
Mrs. H. S. Garrett and children of Marlin, the latter including Miss Mary
Ruth Garrett, who came from Austin where she is attending the summer
session of the University of Texas for the event.
     Miss Dodson, Judge Dodson, Mesdames Lacy and Garrett are children of
Mrs. Dodson. She has two other daughters, Miss Mary Dodson, who is a
Presbyterian missionary in Korea, and Miss Mattie Dodson of Austin, and two
more sons, W. H. Dodson of Lampasas and Rev. S. K. Dodson, Presbyterian
minister of Richmond, Va., who formerly was a missionary in Korea.
