       MARLIN--Mrs. M. V. Denson was hostess to a breakfast party Saturday morning, August 4, honoring her aunt, Mrs. L. J. Peoples of Los Angeles, Calif.  Those present were:  Madams A. X. Robertson, S. L. Gibson, I. M . Punchard, V. P. Dorsey, L. J. Smith, A. L. Smith, A. E. S. Johnson, N. L. Nelson, M. A. Williams, Ethel Hamilton, I. Berry, Faye Dorsey and Mrs. Fitzgerald.

       Misses Mary Frances and Lois Nelson are visiting friends and relatives in Corsicana, and Madams A. E. S. Johnson, N. L. Nelson, S. L. Gibson, and V. P. Dorsey are contemplating a trip to Chicago, Illinois.

        Mrs. Winn and her three daughters, Emerine, Vera, and Mineola are visiting relatives and friends in California. 

       The literary achievers gave a breakfast Thursday morning at Pipers Grove.  Everybody enjoyed the morning.  Mrs. Octavia Mays had returned to Robstown.
