Guests of George Atkins Buchanan on the occasion of his Eighth Birthday,
which fell on Halloween
~~~~~
Saturday
afternoon George Atkins Buchanan was host to a group of his little friends on
the occasion of his eight birthday, which is also Halloween'em. All of the
guests appeared in costumes representative of
clowns, countries or story book characters.
The party assembled in a suite at the Falls hotel at 4:30
o'clock Saturday and were escorted to the Palace for a theatre party where a
special section was assigned to the group.
Following the show, the party returned to the hotel where
refreshments consisting of sandwiches, cake and punch were served.
Squawking owls were the favors. Appropriate Hallowe'en decorations for the
cake, table and the room were used.
