FALLS COUNTY TEACHING
SCHOOL

A county-wide terraching school was held in Cedar Valley Community, September 28, with an attendance of 47 men and 8 boys.  They were taught how to operate the level and lay out terrace lines.  Six lines were run on a 45-acre farm and one terrace completed.  H. S. Estelle, district agent, addressed the groups.  Two county agents assisted in conducting the school.
       G. S. Buchanan, president of the Chamber of Commerce; M. W. Beck, soil surveyor United States Department of Agriculture; M. V. Bradshaw, president of the First State Bank of Marlin, and Dr. N. B. Buie were present, and all of them gave some very valuable information.
