Matron.

       Officers of Marlin chapter No. 286 Order of the Eastern Star were elected at a regular meeting of the organization in the Masonic hall Tuesday night.
       Those chosen were Mrs. Dolly Bowers, worthy matron; Cecil Glass, worthy patron; Mrs. Nettie Bratton, associate matron; Judge E. M. Dodson, associate patron; Mrs. C. B. Eskridge, conductress; Mrs. S. A. Watts, associate conductress; Mrs. C. R. Eddins, secretary; Mrs. J. W. Mundell, treasurer.
       Appointive posts will be filled later by the incoming worthy matron.
