Suit was filled this week by Mrs. Edna Brady, widow of Reagan Brady, deceased,
individually and as next friend for her minor children, joined by Mrs. S. E.
Brady, mother of deceased, against the Gulf, Colorado & Santa Fe Railway Co.
The suit involves $50,000 damages. The plaintiffs claim in their petition
that the death of Reagan Brady was caused by wrongful acts, trespasses and
injuries inflicted upon the said Reagan Brady by the railway company through its
special agents. On the occasion of the death of Mr. Brady, Deputy Sheriff Guy
Pope Dan J. E. Dunman of Temple were killed.
A late survey Thursday morning showed that
34 bales of cotton had been ginned in Cameron this season.
