(The Kosse Cyclone)

Sunday, July 12, was the beginning day of the revival meeting and
evangelistic campaign of the Baptist church here. Rev. W.B. Pierce, pastor
of the First Baptist church, Mexia, and noted for his his evangelistic
qualifications, has been secured to direct the campaign.
Mother Nature is working over-overtime to furnish Kosse with its share
of freaks, it seems. Last week we published a report of a fish with two
mouths being caught below the falls near Marlin by Kosseites and put on
display at the Cyclone office. This week we have a report of a real live
chicken with four legs and all of them in use.
The chicken belongs to Mrs. P.E. Parr, who lives about three miles south of
Kosse. The chicken was hatched last Wednesday and so far seems perfectly
healthy, walking around on its all-fours just as spry as any of its brothers
and sisters.
