Organization is Composed of Men Devoting
Time to Evangelistic Work
Rev. F. P. Goddard has just received word
that he has been successful in getting Captain McDale Bennett of the Church Army
to visit St. John's Episcopal church on May 24. This organizaation is
composed of single men devoting their whole time to evangelistic work throughout
the country.
Captain Bennett will speak on "Evangelism
as the Duty and privilege of the Laity." Captain Bennett is a Hempstead,
Texas, boy, active in the Young People's Service League of Texas for several
years, before leaving for Providence, where the Church Army Training School is
located.
