Baptism Announced at
Episcopal Church Sunday
~~~~~
Children of Church School to Present
Offerings at This
Service
~~~~~

On Sunday morning at 10:30, Rev. F. P. Goddard will baptize two infants at the Episcopal church, Charles Edward Sebesta and Marie Louise Goddard. The ritual used will be the regular Episcopal service, which dates back to the Sarum Cathedral Usage of the year 800. According to this rite, baptism may be either by immersion or affusion, and in this instance both sets of parents have elected affusion.
The children of the church school will also present their missionary offerings at this time. A beautiful white cross with and Easter lily, a symbol of the resurrection, on the face has been prepared by Mrs. A. C. Hornbeck to receive the children's offerings.
The choir will render special Easter music and Mrs. Nick Goodrich will sing the offertory anthem. A celebration of the holy Communion will follow.
