BUSINESS-PROFESSIONAL WOMEN’S CLUB HAS PICNIC

 

Address by Chamber of Commerce President and Readings Feature Program

 

Featured by an address by Cecil Glass, Marlin Chamber of Commerce president, and readings by Mrs. Roy Levy of Chilton, members of the Business and Professional Women’s Club of Marlin, with husbands and other guests, held a picnic program at the Marlin Country Club Monday evening.  Mrs. Amalia Portele was hostess.

 

Advantages of organization and the opportunity for community service presented by membership in a club were stressed by Mr. Glass in the course of his address.

 

An appetizing chicken barbeque plate was served.

 

This was the last session of the club before the summer recess.  Miss Lois Souther, first vice president presided.
