Relative Leaves to Attend Funeral
to Be Held Saturday

   W. C. Smith of Marlin received a message today announcing the death of a brother, D. H. Smith, at Birmingham, Ala., and left on the 1:15 train for that city.
   Deceased is survived by a wife and nine children.  He was 53 years of age.
   The message gave no details of his illness and Mr. Smith was of the impression the demise of his brother was sudden or after a brief illness.  The funeral will be held Saturday.
