FALLS COUNTY BOY SCOUT
BOARD ELECTS OFFICERS

Interesting (missing) very complete reports were made by the men in charge of the Boy Scout work in various towns of the county.  Cecil R. Glass of Marlin reported on the splendid condition of the Boy Scout troop in his town and gave due credit to Scoutmaster Edward Sebesta for his untiring efforts in enabling Marlin boys to have the benefits of scouting.  R. H. Sapp of Rosebud reported for his community and commended Byron Stubbs for keeping the standard of scouting as high as it is in Rosebud.  Mr. Sapp also gave a short talk on "year round camping" for scout troops, particularly stressing the duty of the "camp" man of the troop committee toward assisting the scoutmaster with his camping activities.  Roy Levy of Chilton, J. A. Sweeten of Lott, and G. H. Barganier of Cedar Springs reported for their respective towns.
Byron T. Stubbs, scoutmaster of Troop 34, Rosebud, spoke on "How My Troop Committeemen Can Help Me."  He remarked that the quality of scouting in his troop is due to the strong backing that his committeemen are furnishing him.  Talks were made by scoutmasters Edward Sebesta of Marlin; J. B. Featherston, Chilton, J. D. Landrum, Lott; B. T. Stubbs, Rosebud; M. R. Taylor, Cedar Springs; and Dan Behne of Rosebud.
Announcements and reports of scouting conditions over the council were made by A. J. Lawrence, scout executive of the Heart O'Texas Council.
The meeting was closed by all repeating the scout oath, led by C. Y. Meyers, field executive of the council.
