CONVENTION DECORATIONS

Texas State Flower Grows Profusely
in This Immediate
Section.

       Bluebonnets are found favored in interior decorations for various functions featuring the 1931 convention of the East Texas Chamber of Commerce in Marlin.
       The state flower of Texs grows profusely in this immediate vicinity and convention visitors coming into Marlin were greeted with thir (sic) annual appearance in full bloom.
       Mingled with the crimson Indian pinks, also much in evidence at this season of the year, the countless beds of bluebonnets dotting the landscape present a pretty picture to the eye.
