REPORTS MADE AT MEETING
OF BAPTIST AUXILIARY

Over Two Thousand Dollars Raised
For All Objects During Past
Quarter

The sum of $2047.60 was raised for all purposes during the past quarter, it was announced at the meeting of the Woman's Missionary Society of the First Baptist church at the church Monday afternoon.

Reports of activities of the organization were received, including that of the treasurer, which showed, among other items, that $379.20 was raised as an Easter offering for the church building fund, while women and girls of the church contributed $976 to the budget of the church during the past quarter.

Recommendations of the executive board were adopted during the business session.

The meeting opened with devotional based on the 16th chapter of Mark, Mrs. H. A. Dupuy, auxiliary president, leading.  Mrs. Roye Eddins made a talk on "Mexican Missions."

The Baptist Business and Professional Women's Circle met Monday    evening in the of Mrs. Emma Evans, seven members and one guest, Miss Davis, attending.  Mrs. R. L. Norwood had charge of the Bible lesson.
