To The Democrat:
With each member reading and emphasizing parts of the Children's Charter, the Blue Ridge Parent - Teacher meeting of November 20 proved an instructive one. With Mrs. B. E. Mitchell, program chairman, Miss Eunice Swinnea was presented and gave the "History and Origin of the White House Conference," at which time the children's charter was outlined. A most entertaining feature of the program was the singing of several songs by the pupils. State and national dues were reported paid and individual members cards distributed.
During the business session it was decided to have a pre - Thanksgiving sale of farm products.
