BARBEQUE LUNCH
FEATURES DELPHIAN MEET

Principal Address was by Representative
of National Delphian
Society.

Having completed the study courses for the year, the Duleth Chapter of Delphians had as a final meeting before summer adjournment a barbecued chicken luncheon at the Majestic hotel Thursday.

Delphian colors, black and gold were noted on the floral decorations which were black-eyed Susans and the place cards were adorned with the Delphian emblem.

Mrs. C. B. Francks was toastmistress and presented each program
number in ryhme.  Mrs. E. M. Dodson gave a reading, Mrs. J. I. Collier sang with piano accompaniment by Mrs. Roye Eddins.  Interesting talks were made by Mesdames E. P. Hutchings, Jr., J. H. Barnett and A. O. Bowdon.  Mrs. Z. I. Harlan called the club roll giving a clever limirick about each club member present.

Mrs. H. L. Powell, who is connected with the national Delphian society, gave an inspiring address.

Mrs. Harlan's roll call provoked considerable merriment, as the name of each member was incased in rhythmic terms.
