       The preliminary hearing of John M. Young, charged with the murder of John M. Young, charged with the murder of W. H. Hanson, resulted in the defendant being remanded to jail without the benefit of bail.  The hearing was held before Justice E. P. Neumann at Chilton Tuesday afternoon and was not concluded until 6:30.
       The state introduced a number of witnesses who were near the scene of the killing at the time and some others who were believed to have knowledge of some of the circumstances leading up to the tragedy.  The defense introduced no witnesses.
       The defense was represented by Judge B. H. Rice while County Attorney Connally appeared for the state.
