WRIT OF POSSESSION SERVED.
-----
The King-McCrary Case Again in
Lime Light.
-----
Another chapter was added
to the King-McCrary landlord and tenant litigation Saturday when attorneys for
McCrary applied to the district clerk for a writ of possession in favor of
McCrary as against Geo. A. and C. H. King. The writ was immediately served
on them and the doors of Stuart's bar, which occupies the property in
litigation, were closed.
The writ of sequestration sued out by the
King's last spring, was quashed by the district court, on motion of McCrary's
attorneys and pending an appeal the writ of possession issues. This puts
the sheriff in possession until some further move is made by attorneys for the
Kings, which can be done by sequestration proceedings.
