Shooting at Rosebud.
-----
Mexican Trying to Escape is Seri-
ously Wounded.
-----

A telephone message from Rosebud Monday stated that a Mexican was shot and seriously wounded by Sam Smith, a restaurant man.
The circumstances of the shooting area a little out of the ordinary.  The Mexican was charged with with a burglary committed there Friday night and Judge Lamar, justice of the peace, desired his arrest.  He called to Smith to assist him, and when accosted, the Mexican began to run when the justice called to Smith to "shoot him in the legs."  Smith shot, but the bullet went too high, striking the umbra in the back and it is feard that the physicians had hopes that they might save the Mexican's life.
