Eighteenth Year - Number 9

Record Breaking Weather.

-----

The cold wave that is now crossing Texas is believed to break all late records for this time of the year.

The thermometer touched 47 at one time since 6 a.m.  Overcoats and fires were very comfortable.  If the sun remains obsecured (sic) for a few days and the weather gets no colder, the damage to crops will probably be light.--Saturday, April 20.
