Bad Negro Wanted by Sheriff Pool
for Assault.

Three
pistol toters were fined on pleas of guilty in county court. They each
concluded, no doubt, that the custom of wearing side ornaments is a little more
expensive and therefore less attractive than formerly.
Geo.
Canady, Jim Bates and Henry Huntsman were each essessed (sic) the sum of $100
for exercising the personal liberty of carrying concealed weapons.
Alex
Young, charged in two cases with petty theft, plead guilty and got a fine of
$1.00 and one day in jail in each case.
Sheriff
Poole is looking for one Sydney Lee, a bad nigger, who beat up on one of his own
race near town.
