       The celebrated Busby trial will come up at Crockett Monday, November 4.  A. S. Busby is charged with embezzlement while assistant financial agent at the Rusk penitentiary during Gov. Sayers' first term.

       A tract of valuable land near the Union Printers' at Colorado Springs, Colo., has been bought by the National Mail Carriers' Association.  This tract contains 160 acres and a for the sick and indigent members of that organization is to be erected and maintained in the same manner as the Printers' Home.

       A lot of 200 German families from Ohio is to be located near Houston in sixty days.
