-----
Mother and Child Thrown Out--We-
men Seriously Injured.
-----

A negro baby was killed in a runaway on the Albert Tomlinson farm, two miles from the bridgestore, late Tuesday afternoon.
The woman, with the eight months old baby in her arms, was returning from the cotton patch and had stopped at a watering trough on the place, when the horse that she was driving became frightened and ran into a ditch, causing herself and the infant to be thrown from the vehicle.  The child's neck was broken and the woman was seriously injured in the back and in the head.
