Marlin Gun Club Organized.

A gun club has been
organized in Marlin with eighteen members and will be known as the Marlin Gun
Club.
For several days practicing has been going
on in Oltorf's pasture, but the range will be moved to the fair grounds.
Three new traps have been ordered and the
club hopes to be prepared to have a contest on the 4th of July.
The following compose the membership to
date: W W Turner, Chas. Oltorfl, Dr Reeves, H G Rush, C W Rush, Will
Toler, Jno Groves, Ed Barbee, Oscar Groves, Geo M Wright, Frank Stallworth, Josh
Groves, R J Jackson, Bill Nolan, F S Heffner, Walter Stuart, Frank Peacock and J
H Barnett.
