Marlin Has Some Attractions.
-----

In and around Marlin are found some attractions that can hardly be excelled in furnishing entertainment and amusement for visitors and homefolks.
Scarcely three blocks from the business portion of town is Bartlett park, an attractive spot where nightly concert and dances are given three times a week.  The well pavilion with its reclining benches affords a place of rest and amusement where music is heard several afternoons and evenings in the week.
Within an hour's drive from Marlin is the Falls of the Brazos, noted for its pleasant scenery and an ideal place for picnics.  The spot is becoming a popular resort for visitors where they may spend a great part of the day and have the use of the club house.
The fishing facilities in Marlin are equal to any and afford some diversion to those who engage in the sport.  Besides the river and other sunning streams there are two artificial lakes within the city limits, and are always open to visitors.
In addition to these attractions there are the skating rink, the electric theater and other places of amusement which have their fond adherents.
