LAMP EXPLOSION STARTS FIRE.

Fire Department Saves Building After
Slight Damage.

A lamp exploded at the residence of Judge G. G. Moore Tuesday night at nine
o'clock and for a time it looked like the house and contents were doomed.
A hurry call was turned in to the
department and the boys responded in double-quick time. They soon had the
flames under control, with only a small damage to the contents.
