The Ladies Social Club.
On Wednesday
afternoon Mrs. Keesee delightfully entertained the Ladies' Social Club.
Eighteen members responded to roll call with current events.
There being very little business, the remainder of the afternoon was spent
playing 42.
Mrs. Bunch won first prize, a beautiful floor cushion; Miss Watson won guest
prize, a box of paper; Mrs. Dr. Allen won consoltion, a pretty match holder.
Mrs. Keesee served a delicious chicken course and hot chocolate.
The club meets next with Mrs. Heffner. Would be glad if all members of the
club be present, as officers for the coming year will be elected.
Guests were: Mrs. Rimes, Mrs. Spivey, Miss Watson and Miss Haynes.
