GREAT VAN AMBURG SHOWS.
-----
The
splendid reputation of the great Van Amburg shows is so firmly established
that none will doubt the genuineness of the promisis (sic) made, and no one will
be disappointed. This year the show has been enlarged so as to rank with
any tented organization on the road. Thousands of dollars have been spent
in improving every department.
It costs
about $2,500 a day to run such a big circus. There are 570 people with the
show, besides 83 advance agents and bill posters with the advertising cars.
The Van
Amburg shows will exhibit in Marlin Friday, April 12, benefit Confederate
widows' at Austin.
