Fire Underwriters' Meet.

Chicago, Ill, Oct. 9.--The 38th annual meeting of the Fire Underwriters'
association of the Northwest began at the auditorium today and will continue
over tomorrow. The feature of the morning session was the annual address
delivered by Insurance Commissioner Vorys of Ohio, which followed the
presentation of a special memorial on the late W. L. King, president of the
association.
