Fined for Abusive Language.

Kirk Williams was
assessed a fine of $10 by a jury in justice court on a charge of abusive
language Tuesday.
Williams and C. B. Kaufman were charged
with hurling vile epithets at H. Goodman, fellow booster, the war of words
growing out of a fishing expedition of a few days since. When the jury
returned a verdict of guilty in the case of Williams, Kauffman entered a plea of
guilty and was fined $5.00 by the court.
The fish case against Williams is still
pending in county court.
