Excursion to the Falls of the Brazos.
-----

To The Democrat:
One of the most pleasant occasions of the season was the big fishing excursion at the falls Wednesday.
When a crowd composed of Messrs and Mesdames Vann, John Groves and Jake Gorden; Misses Willie Jarrott of Kosse and Essie Cox of Temple; Dave McKinney, E. S. Dechmann of Waco and Elmer Williams of Huntsville went to the falls and spent the day in fishing, boating and swimming.  Late in the evening after the spread of a dainty lunch they entered into some interesting games, the most important was the 42 game.  The first prize was won by Miss Jarrott, second by Mr. Dechmann and the booby prize, which was a dead crawfish, was won by Mr. Gordon.
The excursion was complimentary to Miss Jarrott and was highly enjoyed by all.
