ELECTION FOR SCHOOL TRUSTEES

Will be Held in Marlin on First

Saturday in May.

    The trustee election for the Marlin school district will be held on Saturday, May 4, that being the first Saturday in the month.

    We are requested by Judge Rice, president of the school board, to publish the following information in regard to the election:

    Voting places and officers will be as follows:

 

    Ward No. 1--Fire station; W. L. Falconer, presiding judge. A. W. Foster, assistant judge; J. B. Billingsly and Henry Wrenn, clerks.

 

    Ward No. 2--Court house; Jno. M. Jolly, presiding judge; Geo. C. Slater, assistant; W.D. Thomas and J. P. Segrest, clerks.

 

    Ward No. 3--Mayor's office; W.T.Price, presiding judge; H. M. Bryden, assistant: Prentice Oltorf and S. D. Hutchings, clerks.

   

    The members whose terms expire this year are T. E. Battle, W.D. Kyser, A. Y. Curtis and Dr. L. P. Robertson.
