Dance at the Majestic.
-----
An informal dance was given Friday evening from 8:30 to 11 in the dining room of
the Majestic in honor of the visiting ladies of the hotel.
Owing to the late hour at which it was
decided to have the dance and the meager facilities for extending invitations,
only a small crowd knew of it in time to be present.
Still, the evening was a very enjoyable one
and each guest, in departing, asked that the pleasure be oft-repeated.
Music was furnished by a local orchestra.
Honorees: Misses Franks, San Antonio;
Miss Walker, Dallas; Miss Ellis, Houston and Mrs. Arnold, New York.
Others present: Misses Paul, Josie
and Byrd Wright, Morgan, Mesdames Kavanaugh, Horne and Torbett.
Gentlemen: Gee, Chilton, Herron,
Dupree, Keigwin, Branson, Chambers, Drury and Don LaPrelle, B. M. Torbett,
Fannie and Buie.
