Country Club Debt is Lifted.
-----
Man Will Probably Be Put in Charge
of Property.
-----

The debt against the country club property for the erection of the building has been liquidated.  For several months interest among the members has been lagging, but it is now revived again and it is quite probable that the property will be given much more attention in the future than it has in the recent past.
The members are already planning to place a reliable man in charge to protect the property and to see that the grounds are not trespassed upon.
During the summer quite a number of people spent a week there at different times and pronounce it a magnificient resport.  This has demonstrated to them the possibilities of making this the most popular resort around Marlin and to this is due in a large measure the enthusiasm now manifest.
Treasurer E. C. Smith, reports collections on membership dues about full up, only a very few declining to pay their pro rata of the additional amount required to liquidate the indebtedness.
