       Judge B. H. Rice of Marlin, the new judge on the bench of the court of civil appeals, is a lawyer of ability and a clean, upright, loveable gentleman.  He has lived in our neighbor city many years and no man in this section is more respected.  The Tribune would have been glad to see a Waco lawyer get the place, but as that could not be, we congratulate Judge Rice on the honor that has come to him--for he is worthy of it.
