The following special from Chicago to the Dallas News is of much interest in Marlin:
Chicago, Ill., Nov. 12--Comiskey will lead a small-sized army, consisting of forty odd ball players to Marlin, Texas., early in March for a thorough training before the spring season of exhibition games.
The old Roman opened negotiations with the Texas resort this afternoon and hopes to complete arrangements by the end of the week.  He has an enormous list of young players and says he will take the whole crowd along and none are to be let go until he has a complete tryout and is given every chance to see what ability he has.
Marlin is not unknown to White Sox players, as it was their training ground several years ago.  The baths are good and there is a good ball park.  Comiskey thinks that the weather conditions will be as favorable as any that prevail in the South in the early spring.
The owner of the ex-world's champions has his heart set an (sic) another American league championship.  It is quite evident he intends to have plenty of material with which to build a world-beating team.
