County School Notes.
-----
(By A.W.E.)

The country schools are now nearly all out, a few more weeks will end the year's work.  The following have made term reports this week:  Eren Hodges, Union: Pauline Allen, Crown Point; Kate DeGraffenreidt, Golinda; Mabel Hearne, Bolona: Kate Pringle, Grady; J. E. Granberry, Otto; A. E. Busy, Ben Rice; H L Cobb, Mustang Prairie; Claudie Rogers, Woodland; Willie Jarrott, Central.

       H. L. Cobb left Saturday to spend the summer in California.

       N. F. Alsup, principal of the Durango independent district, has closed a very successful term and is now enjoying a well earned rest.

Stranger school is doing some excellent work, although the measles and work have lowered the attendance considerably.

Prof. W. C. Crane of Lott made a visit to Groesbeck to confer with the summer normal committee regarding our normal.  The normal will begin at Thornton June 19th and continue five weeks.  The faulty is composed of J. T. Cox, conductor, Ellis and Storer of Limestone county with W. C. Crane and Miss Louise Wells of this county.

Prof. Cox is well known to many of our teachers and as a successful normal worker.  Our county is ably represented and the normal is sure to be a success.  Circulars will be out in a few days.
