City Council Proceedings.

       Ordered that J. W. Spivey be requested to promptly file suits in all delinquent tax matters placed in his hands.

       Ordered that tax assessor and collector make one more effort to collect certain amounts past due for sewer connections, and if settlements cannot be had to place the accounts in the hands of city attorney for suit.

       Petition of C. R. Pyle to become sanitary inspector and have charge of street cleaning, was passed until next meeting of the council.

       An ordinance was presented for passage, the effect of which would be to prohibit loafing and loitering about the fire station, and action on the same was postponed until the next meeting of the city council.
