CHURCH IS STARTED

       CHILTON--SPL---The Church of Christ was organized at Crown Point, Falls County, in 1870.  John Bryant, J. B. Strother, and Richard Kirkpatrick were elders.  In 1896 the church was moved to Chilton where services were held under a tabernacle in Summer and in (th)e school in the Winter until they (bui)lt their present church in 1907.
