Charged With Petty Theft.

    Kirk Williams is again this central figure in a complaint alleging theft under the value of $50. which is on file in the county court.

 

    Kirk is charged with an illegal collection of souvenirs, such as postals, art goods, etc., from the drug store fo the Smith Drug Company.

 

    He was arrested Saturday by Constable Hemphill and gave bond in the sum of $150 for his appearance at the trial of the case.

 

    The circumstances of the case were unwound by City Marshal Stallworth who recovered a portion of the goods.

 

    The defendant denies that he is guilty of the charge and assured the constable that there was "nothing in it."
