Birthday Entertainment.

       An entertainment was given at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Finks Wednesday evening the occasion being a birthday party for Miss Louise Finks.  Many games, such as "wolf over the river," "dropping the handkerchief" and "farmer in the dell" were engaged in on the lawn, which was brilliantly lighted by suspended Japanese lanterns.
       On a table were the punch and birthday cake, around which were many small candles.
       In cutting the cake Miss Bernandine Frank secured the ring, Miss Rosalice Battle the dime, Frank Shaw, the needle and Elbert Holloway, the button.
       The out of town guests were, Misses Dallas of Dallas, McKinnon of Austin, Markham of Beaumont and Mr. Percy Morrow of Houston.
