BIG WOODMAN BANQUET.

Officers Elected--Fine Supper

Served to Large Crowd.

The Modern Woodmen entertained themselves, their wives, sisters and sweethearts Monday evening with a banquet and reception at the hall over the Electric theater.  There were present about seventy-five people, including members of the lodge, of which there was the best attendance yet witnessed.

The election of officers resulted in the following:

    R. L. Martin, consul commander.

    J. E. Smith, advisor.

    M. V. Bradshaw, clerk.

    J. B. Collier, banker.

    J. E. Fitzgerald, escort.

    Sam Kemendo, watchman.

    Wiley Muelnax, sentry.

Dr. S. S. Munger, camp physician.

Wiley Davis, member board of managers.

Tom Connally and J. W. Hoke were initiated into the order.

At the conclusion of the business session, the members and guests were invited into the hall adjoining the lodge room where an elaborate supper was served, to which all present did ample justice.

The banqueters were entertained during the meal with speeches from Tom Connally and Sam Kemendo.
