Big Singing at Cego.
-----

On Wednesday Aug. 28 there will be an all day singing and picnic at Cego, the occasion being the closing of the public schools for the summer term.
The singing will be under the direction of Prof. Wilson, who is quite a noted vocalist.
The proceeds of the day from the sale of soda water, ice cream, etc., will go to a fund for the purpose of establishing a park.  This is a most laudible object and one that may be well emulated by every school in the county.  It would be a grand thing indeed to have a system of parks throughout the county.
The public is cordially invited to attend.  Dinner on the ground and singing and amusements all day.
