Barn Destroyed by Fire.
-----

The barn of Pete Noble, living in the eastern part of the city was destroyed by fire at about 9 o'clock Wednesday night.
Several tons of hay, a quantity of corn, a cart, a saddle and some harness were consumed.
The fire department responded promptly to the alarm but on account of the long run the barn was beyond saving when they arrived.
The residence and other houses in the immediate vicinity of the blaze were protected by the department.
There was no insurance on the property burned.
