Judge W. J. Finks is from Virginia.  While he saw the exposition and enjoyed it to its utmost, this was by no means the most pleasant part of his trip.  His greatest objection going, and pleasure from which he derived the most, was seeing his parents, whom he had not seen in 31 years.
Judge Finks found his father and mother enjoying good health for their age, his father being 83 and his mother 75.  He met many of his old friends, upon whom the tide of years have rested lightly, which he attributes in a great measure to the excellent climate for which that state is famous.
He visited Washington City and other points while away.  Found the exposition in an incomplete state, but workmen busy putting the finishing touches on it.  Says the charges are very reasonable and the trip more than worth the money.
Judge Rice, who went to Virginia with him, visited New York and is now in Georgia, visiting his old home, accompanied by his daughter, Miss Clio, who is returning from school.
